(Love Books, Love Knowledge, Love

BRIEF HISTORY
The establishment of Perpustakaan
Masjid Gedhe Kauman was initiated in 1982 by the Takmir1 of the Masjid.
Housed by a Pajagan2
building that is located in the complex of the Masjid, in 1995, the Library was
awarded as the best Masjid Library in the Province of Special Region of
Yogyakarta.
As the time went on, because of its limited number of staff,
the library was closed from 2005 to 2015. Along with its newly set vision, the
Library started to open again to serve people in February, 2015.
