Ramadan's First Day Morning Ride
Salam. Morning, wonderful people. Alhamdulillah we're back to Ramadan the fasting month, the month full of blessings. Aamiin Allahumma aamiiiiin. InsyaAllah Muslims, including me, will do more faithful practices to gain more of Allah's blessings and Mercies. So, in order to start off the holy month, I have a personal tradition. It is going on a morning bike ride in the countryside. I've been doing this tradition since my childhood in the day. Basically this tradition came from my old habit of going for a walk on the same day, back in my home town when I was little. Children would love to do that, just to enjoy the moment that determines the start of the month. No wonder the sides of country roads will be full of children and sometimes adults to do the morning walk. And today, as I'm grown up, no more people of my age would do that with friends, except with their families.
