A Snapshot of Candi Ijo, Prambanan
The area of Prambanan District of Sleman Regency is rich with historic temples (candi) . One of them is called 'Camdi Ijo'. This temple is on a hill of the District's east part. Standing up on a hill, visitors should ride a vehicle whose motor/engine is powerful enough to go up because the street leading there is quite steep in some parts. However, once we get all the way there, what we've been through on the way up is paid off.
From Prambanan, to get there, we need to drive south, taking the Prambanan-Piyungan street. After about 5 km away, there is a sign leading to the Temple. Then, we need to turn left and follow it. Along the street, we will see some junctions of four and three, but don't worry. There's always a signboard in every of it to direct us. The street is quite good with asphalt on its flat part and concrete on its steepy part. It's actually easy to reach. The only thing we need to think of is the motor/engine of the vehicle we use. We can also ride a bike, of course, but make sure you are healthy enough.
